One stormy night, a hungry fox wandered through the forest looking for food. He suddenly heard a loud “Boom-boom-boom!” behind a tree.

Frightened, he thought, “It must be a lion! I should run!”

But then he stopped and said, “I must see what it really is before I flee.”

He crept closer and found… a drum! The wind was blowing against it, making the sound. Relieved and happy, the fox banged it open — and found some food left inside by travelers.
