π° The Clever Rabbit and the Proud Lion π¦
A fun jungle fable for preschoolers
Once upon a time, in a deep green forest, there lived a mighty lion named Bhasuraka. He was so fierce that all the animals lived in fear. Every day, he would roar and hunt, even when he wasnβt hungry!
The animals had a meeting under a shady tree. They said, βO King of the Jungle, please do not hunt us at random. Every day, we will send one animal to you as your meal. That way, you will never go hungry, and we will live without fear.β
The lion agreed. From that day, one animal was chosen daily to go to the lionβs den.
One day, it was the turn of a clever little rabbit. He walked very slowly and reached the lionβs den quite late. The lion roared angrily, βWhy are you late? Iβll eat all the animals tomorrow!β
The rabbit bowed and said, βOh mighty lion, itβs not my fault! On my way, another lion stopped me and said he was the real king of this forest!β
The lion growled, βShow me that imposter!β The rabbit led him to a deep well and said, βHe lives inside that den, my lord.β
The lion looked inside and saw his reflection. Thinking it was another lion, he roaredβand the βother lionβ roared back! Angry, he jumped into the well and… SPLASH! He drowned.
The clever rabbit ran to the other animals and told them the good news. From that day, the forest was happy and peaceful again!
